Terms and Conditions for the China Airlines Photo Moment competition (‘Competition’)
By entering the Promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. This competition is being run by the City of Melbourne (ABN: 55 370 219 287).
  2. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions and will be published on the Firelight Labyrinth website.
  3. Entry is open to all persons over the age of 18.
  4. By partaking in the China Airlines Photo Moment Competition (Photo Moment) and entering the competition you accept these Terms and Conditions:
    • The Photo Moment is an opportunity for Firelight Labyrinth attendees to capture the experience in front of a branded media wall with their personal phone. Any imagery shared on social media or other public platforms by attendees agree to the terms of use on each platform.
    • Attendees do not have to participate in the Photo Moment in order to enter the competition. For the purpose of clarity, attendees can scan the QR code on the signage, and bypass this step. Refer to clause 6.
  5. The Photo Moment is located at Firelight Labyrinth located within Marvel Stadium: Entry via Gate 1 on Marvel Stadium concourse (Stadium Square) in Docklands, VIC 3000. Firelight Labyrinth is open from 10am-10pm daily 28 June – 14 July, 2024. Times may vary, please check Firelight website for up-to-date information.
  6. To enter the competition, you must:
    • Visit Firelight Labyrinth at Marvel Stadium during opening hours as stated above;
    • Scan the QR code to obtain the entry form; and
    • Complete the entry form and provide valid contact information (name, email address and/or phone number) (valid entry).
  7. Employees of the City of Melbourne and China Airlines, associated contractors, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  8. An entrant may not submit an entry on behalf of someone else.
  9. The competition commences at 10am on Friday 28 June 2024 and ends 10pm on Sunday 14 July 2024 (Promotional Period).
  10. To go into the draw for the prize you must submit a valid entry during the Promotional Period.
  11. There is one prize and there will be one prize winner. The prize is one choice of the following:
    • Two (2) x return business class tickets from Melbourne to Auckland, New Zealand by China Airlines only (codeshare flight excluded ) or,
    • Four (4) x return premium economy tickets from Melbourne to Auckland, New Zealand by China Airlines only (codeshare flights excluded)
  12. City of Melbourne will randomly draw, via an electronic random draw system, one winner on Thursday 18 July, from the valid entries. The name of the winner will be published on the Firelight website on acceptance of the prize, which for the purpose of clarity, may be after the draw date.
  13. City of Melbourne will notify the prize winner via the phone number and email address supplied in their entry with details on how to redeem their prize. The prize winner will be contacted after the draw on Thursday 18 July 2024.
  14. If the winner does not claim their prize within ten (10) business days after being notified (refer to Clause 11), or is unable to travel during the travel dates, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner may be chosen or drawn.
  15. The maximum prize value for either option outlined in Clause 11 will not exceed AUD$9,600 inc GST, airline taxes and luggage.
  16. Accommodation, spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.
  17. The prize tickets are not changeable, reroutable, endorsable, transferrable nor refundable after issuance.
  18. Outbound travel dates are 2 December 2024 to 15 February 2025 and inbound travel dates are 3 December 2024 to 16 February 2025. and subject to availability.
  19. City of Melbourne will provide the winner’s name and email address to China Airlines to enable them to verify the identity of the prize winner. Accordingly, to claim a prize the winner must ensure that they use the same email address as the one supplied with their entry form.
  20. To redeem prize and enquire about availability, reservation or ticketing, City of Melbourne will connect both the winner and a representative from China Airlines via email. From this point, it is the responsibility of the prize winner and airline representative to continue the booking process between one another.
  21. The winner is responsible for obtaining all necessary valid travel documents (ie. Passport, visa, travel insurance) and any relevant compliances with all health or other government regulations. Travel related costs are at the expense of and arrangements of the traveller.
  22. To the full extent permitted by the law, the City of Melbourne excludes liability for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of opportunity, revenue or profit) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion.
  23. City of Melbourne reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any individual who City of Melbourne has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct.
  24. City of Melbourne reserves the right to cancel the competition without further recourse to the entrants.
  25. City of Melbourne is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer, online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, including any injury or damage to participants resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this competition.
  26. All entries are the property of City of Melbourne. Any personal information collected by City of Melbourne will be treated in accordance with City of Melbourne’s What’s On Privacy Policy subject to these terms and conditions.
  27. City of Melbourne reserves the right to request proof of age and identity of the winner before awarding the prize and if the City of Melbourne determines that the winner is ineligible, the winner automatically forfeits the prize and a new winner may be selected.
  28. City of Melbourne accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries and will determine if an entry is eligible at its absolute discretion with no legal liability.
  29. City of Melbourne may change the package prize at its absolute discretion for a prize of approximate equal or greater retail value with no legal liability.
  30. Where entrants have opted-in on the entry form, City of Melbourne will provide the name and email address to China Airlines for the purpose of sending future marketing or promotional offers. Please ensure you have read China Airlines Privacy Policy for more information on how China Airlines hold and stores your details.
  31. The City of Melbourne will not disclose your information to any external party without your consent, unless required or authorised by law.
